Dan Sollis

Dan is the creator and Editor of NEXT STOP HELL. “I’ve been a huge sci-fi, horror and fantasy genre movie nerd from childhood, and discovered horror movies at a massively inappropriate age. This led to a lifelong love of genre filmmaking (I have sketchbooks filled with pictures of monsters drawn from the age of 4 and up!) I now work as an independent VFX artist and Animator, creating Motion Graphics, Title Sequences and Visual Effects shots for Film & TV through my company Digital Distortion. But I’ve always loved talking about movies and writing reviews for friends and family, mostly just shared on social media. A lot of people have left Facebook and Twitter now, so it felt like a good idea to start putting up reviews on a platform not owned by billionaires of dubious ethical standing.
NEXT STOP HELL is hopefully going to become a platform for other amazing guest writers to publish reviews and articles on too. Having worked in the media industry for many years, I know many incredible and passionate people who work in the industry who have plenty of interesting things to say. Watch this space!”
